In order to avoid embarrassment, LING recommends MING to defence for DICK. Apart, at the court, LONG quotes the background of FUNG and accuses her inability to raise the child. Since FUNG is working in a nightclub and has drug problem once, LONG finds easy to target her weakness. However, the defence of TING overrules his accusations. Whilst, TING tends to provoke the jealous of LIN and makes her emotionally out of control. Actually, LIN is unable to accept her husband betrays the marriage and has an affair with another woman. Though LIN pretends to be a good mother, YEE realises her hypocrisy and hatred lying in her heart. On the other hand, AMY discovers that LONG is still attached to his ex-girlfriend, AU WING ZHI. She runs away with anger and despair. LONG’s mother, CHEUNG LAI FONG realises the situation and suggests LONG to develop a new relationship and let go of the past, especially, ZHI……

DICK neglects the advice of MING and self-defence for himself in court. Luckily, MING is tricky enough to win the case for him at last. Apart, YEE dares to tell LONG that she discovers FUNG is forced to remit the debts for MUI. LIM finds out that MUI is missing; hence, due to unfaithfulness, LONG requests to replace YEE in this case. In the self-defence process, YEE leaves the court in a hurry. It is because FAI has found an old neighbour of MAN. In his home video, YEE recognises her lost son. YEE is upset when she realises that her ex-husband movies his apartment several times in order to hide away from her. But she still has faith in seeing her son one day. In the court, LONG targets at MUI for her addict to gambling and back debts, which is a burden to FUNG in rising up her child. FUNG realises the possibilities in winning the case in low, she tends to take away her child and hide……

FAI suggests YEE to seek for the forgiveness of CARL and apologise to him. But, YEE replies that her apology is unable to get the understanding of CARL. Meanwhile, they hear the scream of TOBY. They chase up and see a man holds a knife and intends to rape TOBY. FAI fights against the lady-killer but fails to catch him. Although he fails to capture the lady-killer, he succeeds in impressing TOBY inadvertently. TOBY recalls that the man has tattoo of tiger and crane on his body. At the same time, a ‘Wing Chen’ tutor, WONG CHOR SHANG is charged for indecency. FAI is looking for time alibi for him and LONG is confidence to win the case. SHANG invites LONG and YEE for lunch; accidentally, YEE discovers that SHANG has the tattoo of tiger and crane on his body, which is matched with the description of TOBY about the lady-killer. Her discovery amazes herself too. YEE suspects SHANG is the lady-killer and informs LONG at once……

FAI tells YEE a story and makes use of the metaphor to encourage her. YEE is moved by his sincerity and kindness. LONG finally realises that YEE is the ex-wife of MAN and understands the reason of her hatred and hostile. He then, co-operates with MING and resumes the position for YEE. YEE is appreciated. LING is discontent with DICK for shouting at her impolitely. MING suggests LING to use aromatherapy to release the pressure and relax. Meanwhile, they know that another director named CHIN GIN FU forces the young director of the therapy centre, CINDY, to withdraw from the board. They are eager to represent CINDY in the case, when CINDY verbally agrees to pay them with shares in return. Unexpectedly, MING has discovered the secret of CINDY by accident and he is stun by the truth. LONG suggests YEE to withdraw from the case of SHANG, YEE agrees……

HO, MO and CHI are brothers and sisters. They suspect the boyfriend, WONG CHI KEUNG, of their mother, CHING MAY HUANG has change the will of their mother; therefore, LONG advises to have a scientific test for the signature. Government prosecutor, WAH knows that LONG has taken up the case; she has a flat face immediately. One night, when MING takes YEE home, he meets his ex-girlfriend, JESSIE. JESSIE teases MING intentionally and makes MING feels embarrass. YEE is pity for MING and pretends as his girlfriend to argue with JESSIE. MING feels sweet at heart. MING informs LING that CINDY is a transmutation woman; they recommend CINDY to seal the secret in order to avoid ruining their appeal. In the court, CINDY explains that FU broke his verbal agreement when she refuses to sleep with him. However, defence lawyer, CHUNG HOK CHEUNG points out that CINDY is a transmutation woman in the court……

In the solicitor firm, staffs gossip the rumour of DICK and CINDY. MING is afraid that LING will upset about the gossip and invites her for lunch as remuneration. Later, LING has hesitation in opening her medical report on aids; she forces MING to find out the answer for her. KEUNG admits to WAH that the signature on the will is a fake; therefore, WAH defers the case for further action. Meanwhile, KEUNG requests to have a private second with HO and his brother and sister, but HO beats him instead. On the other hand, YEE believes that LONG has bias on KEUNG and perceives him as a paramour under the shadow of TING; and yet, his subjective forbids him to compromise. Because of the embarrass identity of CINDY, LING opposes CINDY to admit the transmutation in court. But MING has a different opinion and requests to conclude the final statement for CINDY……

YEE is unable to attend the concert suddenly; she invites LING to replace her instead. After the concert, LING attends a gathering with MING together. Since her friends are fond of jazz music, each of them shows off their knowledge about jazz. At first, LING is afraid that MING will embarrass her; but her worry soon disappears when MING shares his profound knowledge on jazz. LING is amazed. In the court, KEUNG admits that he faked the signature of HUANG on her will; moreover, he agrees to give up all property except the Wen Loy Restaurant. Meanwhile, HO and his brother and sister withdraw the prosecution suddenly. The case is closed under the astonishment of the attendants in the court. Occasionally, LONG talks about his past with YEE. He said that his father loved him very much; furthermore, he also mentions how TING seduces her mother. YEE doubts. YEE falls asleep when she is working overnight for her assignment in the office……

YEE discovers that the flowers were send by MING instead of LONG; therefore, she turns down the love of MING directly. MING is disappointed. Besides, when LONG takes WAH home, she kisses his cheek suddenly. LONG is astounded. MING is upset and tends to drown himself with wine for the rejection of YEE. LING stands by his side and takes care of him; yet, MING is comfort. The trembling is not yet silent in the heart of LONG; WAH proposes her love to him aggressively. FAI is arrested and prosecuted by the police for a serious traffic accident. He is suspected for hitting a pregnant woman named MAY and left the crime scene. Both YEE and LONG believe that FAI is innocent, whilst he is just a substitute. However, FAI refuses to tell the truth. MAY loses her baby and she testifies that FAI is the dangerous driver that day. WAH is responsible for this prosecution and finds FAI is liable for two charges. YEE and others are worried……

MAO speaks about her relationship with WAI. She said that she went to the motel with WAI because she was drunk, but she swears that she does not make love with WAI that time. WAI appoints CHEUNG to be his defence lawyer and accuses the testimony of MAO; nevertheless, WAI refuses to apologise to MAO. MING and LING meet DICK and his new girlfriend, JUDY at the bar. DICK amuses LING for her lousy sexual behaviour. LING flees away with anger and drinks heavily with MING in another bar. The next day, LING is astonished to find she sleeps with MING. She sneaks away quietly then. MING is teased by LONG when he tells LONG about the incident. Because of embarrassment, MING avoids seeing LING in the office. LONG and YEE go back to the crime scene and demonstrate the traffic accident again. The demonstration result shows that MAY is actually unable to see the driver’s appearance during the accident; therefore, they doubt her testimony……

MING discovers that YEE is somehow emotionally attached to LONG; whilst WAH also suspects YEE has intention, especially she has mended the cardigan for LONG. On the other hand, WAH has a new progress in her investigation on the traffic accident. She recognises the voice of HO DAI HING in the reported hot line tape from police record. In fact, HING is the ex-colleague of FAI in the past. And, when WAH invites HING for testimony, she also finds him uttered in providing information. The coincident makes inspector WONG doubts whether HING is the real suspect. Meanwhile, LIM still has faith in FAI and believes that FAI is just a substitute of HING. Both YEE and WAH are surprised, when they visit HING and find him and his family is preparing to migrate to Mainland China. Therefore, YEE concludes that FAI is innocent and advises WAH to protect the justice. However, WAH refuses to comment on the case……

MING expresses to LING that he does not want to be hurt by love again and declines the love of LING indirectly. Apart, LONG believes that the baby of MAY is a crucial point to the case, but his assumption does not get the recognition of YEE. Meanwhile, HING and his family migrated to Mainland China already. YEE is furious, when she finds out that the police did not follow up the investigation. On the trial day, YEE queries the vertex of the judge while the investigation and evidence do not reflect the total truth. Everyone is astonished to the accusation of YEE. On behalf of YEE, LONG apologises to WAH for her inappropriate manner. However, WAH is no longer responsible for the case. LONG is sorry for her then. TING is invited to take up the case now. He pacifies WAH and cheers her up. LONG and others suspect MAY has visited the illegal doctor for abortion and they begin to investigate her background……

YEE departs to Mainland China immediately, when she finds the address of HING. At the same time, LONG and LIM question the illegal doctor and discover that the baby of MAY is dead before having the abortion. Meanwhile, TING also finds the illegal doctor and appears suddenly. LONG loses concentration when he realizes that YEE has gone to search for HING in Mainland China. Hence, WAH suggests him to find YEE at once, though she feels sour at heart. Even though he can find HING, LONG fails to meet YEE. His concern becomes worries now. It is, in fact, understood for his worries because YEE does meet a lady-killer in her journey. Fortunately, LONG arrives the scene on time and saves her. The next morning, LONG returns home. He finds that WAH is sleeping; whilst the dinning table is full of delicious food, which is prepared by WAH tenderly. LONG feels so guilty for his overlook and eats up all of them at one time……

LING bursts into tears; whilst expressing her feelings to MING. She admits that she has never court a boy before. And yet, this is her first failure. Seeing the fragile side of LING, the heart of MING melts. He understands the sorrow that LING suffers and shows his love in return. Actually, MING is too timid to accept the love of LING; but after all, he does not dislike her indeed. When LING realizes the truth, she is confused with happiness and tears. One day, when YEE is shopping, she recognizes a boy who looks like her son, QQ. Just when she flips back from doubts, she loses his trace. Though she fetches all around at the mall, she fails to meet him again. LONG suggests that YEE should place an advertisement at the ‘Lost & Found’ section; whilst, other colleagues also eager to help YEE in the searching. Feedback finally arrives. Someone reports that he saw a child similar to QQ……

YEE meets QQ at the shopping mall again. Suddenly, a combination of feelings hit YEE. However, as the PCLL examination is approaching, LONG suggests YEE to sit for the examination first; whilst he will take up her place in searching for QQ. Just then, YEE observes QQ is leaving the shopping mall. Therefore, she and LONG tend to catch up with him immediately. Meanwhile, LONG drops his cell phone in a rush. Coincidentally, WAH receives a letter of intimidation and intends to seek for the assistance and comfort from LONG at once. However, due to the loss of cell phone, she is unable to reach LONG in such a crucial moment. YEE finds QQ and MAN at last. Moreover, she determines to get back her son this time. Since there is evidence that someone has broken into the apartment of WAH; therefore, she invites FAI to install the security system for her. Although LONG apologies for his rashness, he cannot obtain the forgiveness from WAH this time……

YEE and LONG take QQ to have fun together; however, QQ is missing suddenly. Both of them are scared and search everywhere. Finally, LONG finds QQ and brings him back to YEE. When YEE sees them, she cannot retain her feeling and embraces them immediately. Nevertheless, the hug lights up the love sparks between LONG and YEE unintentionally. MEN and FUN is having divorce in LC solicitor firm, whilst LONG is aware to the disrupt behavior of FUN. On the other hand, LING and MING cannot get along well also. They have been too concern about each other and lose their characters. Thus, the relationship has become a burden to them somehow. Meanwhile, LONG dates WAH for candle light dinner suddenly; yet, WAH is inspired by her sixth sense that something bad might happen. As predict, LONG requests to break up with WAH. Notwithstanding the loss of a relationship, WAH is under the spy of FAI also……

One day, TING proposes marrying FONG. Even though FONG loves TING also, she rather prefers to have the blessing from her beloved son first. Therefore, she declines TING indirectly, with a condition that LONG must attend their wedding ceremony. On the other hand, LING is render speech less to discover that she is pregnant. Having serious consideration, LONG decides to propose his love to YEE also. However, YEE is still overcast by her first marriage and refuses to be an intruder strongly. LONG is torturous then. Besides, WAH and FAI go out to have some snack in the mid-night. Just when WAH visit the lavatory, FUN tries to attack her. Luckily, FAI is efficient enough to restrain FUN and protect WAH, but he is injured. WAH is moved by his courageous and earnestness; whilst, FAI takes the chance to propose his love to WAH. Owing to his attachment to WAH, FAI decides to withdraw his investigation on WAH and cancel the deal with MENG……

LONG explicates the situation of QQ to POLLY and persuades her to be the alibi of YEE. Apart, when YEE mentions about the inspiration from QQ and the interaction between mother and son, LING has the same feeling and yet, YEE discovers her pregnancy unintentionally. By chance, LONG sees that TING is practicing the boxing skills at the fitness center and realizes that he is a boxer. New about the pregnancy of LING is disclosed and discussed among the colleagues. Despite the strong denial of LING, MING stands out and confirms that he is responsible for it. On the other hand, WAH admits that she has been the mistress of MEN for 2 years while her mother was seriously ill at that time. FAI appreciates her honesty and appears to be very considerate and understanding. Nevertheless, he is willing to develop further relationship with WAH in spite of her disgraceful past……

Although POLLY has become the alibi of YEE now; ironically, her testimony is against YEE. It is quite unpredictably, she testifies that YEE has taught her to lie. Thus, YEE finally realises that she has been set up and betrayed. Apart, the chamber of legislators begins the assessment on LONG for his attacked on TING previously. LONG confesses his misbehaviour is because of TING hurts his mother. While the result has become so hesitant after the unfavourable testimony of POLLY; YEE decides to take a higher risk on her tactics. She succeeds in overrule the testimony of POLLY and moves the judiciary with her excellent speech. At last, the judge grants the parental right to YEE and yet, she is content. With such a long debate, this result means a lot to YEE indeed. On the other hand, FAI is guilty and sorry for WAH; whilst, WAH is heart-broken because of his betrayal. After consideration, WAH resigns and departs from Hong Kong……

In the investigation, LONG finds new progress. He discovers from the neighbor of FONG named Mrs. SO that FONG is often ill treated by his father. Furthermore, she mentions about the reason of her coma too. Yet, LONG realizes TING is innocent then. FONG wakes up and when she knows that LONG has forgiven TING, she is pleased to accept the love of TING and agreed to marry him. On their wedding day, LONG announces his relationship with YEE also. Everyone is amazed and happy for them. Nevertheless, they forces LONG to kiss YEE for showing his sincerity of love. Suddenly, QQ cries out loud to halt LONG. LONG is six months suspended for being a solicitor. On contrary, YEE passes the examination and becomes a solicitor; meanwhile, she is practicing and is the pupil of TING. Apart, FAI also set off for a vacation too. During the six months suspension of job, LONG works as an assistant in the solicitor firm……

MING invites his colleagues to be his alibis and attest his relationship with LING at court. All of a sudden, his colleagues reverse their testimony together. MING has no other alternatives but to propose his love to LING in the court then. Because of QQ, LONG is delay in delivering an important document to client, Mr. CHU. Though YEE appreciates his help on taking care of QQ, she worries about LONG a lot. Indeed, CHU requests for a compensation of HK Dollar Five Hundred Thousand. Basically, MING and LING are willing to share the amount and pay for CHU in order to help LONG. Nonetheless, LONG declines their kindness with appreciation but pleads for the forgiveness of CHU and asks him to withdraw the request of damages. Of course, he fails; CHU refuses to compromise. YEE values everything that LONG did for her and persuade LONG to capture the opportunity in U.K. Finally, LONG makes up his mind then……
